Westwood College Introduces New And Updated Degree Programs To Help Launch Graduates Into In-Demand Industries
To help meet the needs of a fast-changing world, Westwood College (www.westwood.edu) has updated its Information Technology: Major in Cisco Network Systems program and is launching two new programs – Information Technology: Major in Computer Forensics and Paralegal. These new and updated programs are now available and prepare graduates to hit the ground running with job skills in growing fields.
Denver, CO – To help meet the needs of a fast-changing world, Westwood College (www.westwood.edu) has updated its Information Technology: Major in Cisco Network Systems program and is launching two new programs – Information Technology: Major in Computer Forensics and Paralegal. These new and updated programs are now available and prepare graduates to hit the ground running with job skills in growing fields.

All the programs offer intensive course work taught by industry professionals who know the skills that employers are looking for when they hire new workers.
Information Technology: Major in Cisco Network Systems: This updated three-year bachelor’s program offers a specialized approach in advanced Cisco certifications taught by certified Cisco Network professionals. Students will get hands-on training to prepare graduates for certification to become Cisco Certified Network Associates (CCNA) and achieve Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) designations.* The program trains students to succeed in a variety of jobs, including network engineer, network administrator, system administrator and database administrator.

Information Technology: Major in Computer Forensics: This three-year bachelor’s program is a hybrid between computer networking and criminal justice. Students learn how to apply digital forensics techniques and investigate computer-related crimes. With this degree, students are trained to enter the workforce as computer forensic technicians, IT security managers and network and systems administrators.

Paralegal: This 18 month associate degree program trains students to perform the detailed-oriented day-to-day work in today’s law firms and government jobs. The paralegal field is growing as law firms look for trained paralegals to help pick up some of the increasing work-loads in a variety of areas, such as legal writing, criminal law and interviewing and investigation.
