From the moment you enroll at Westwood College, our student Success Team^SM stands ready to offer assistance with many issues over the course of your college experience. You will be introduced to team members following completion of your application.

The success team’s invaluable support throughout your course of study at Westwood is available in many areas, including:

Academic concerns and questions
Financial concerns and questions
Bookstore and software questions
Personal, non-school issues

You’ll find it beneficial to enlist the assistance of the student success team with challenges you encounter, rather than trying to deal with matters alone. We encourage you to ask for help as our staff can help you identify ways to quickly overcome roadblocks to success.

Tutoring

At some point during your academic career you may find you need additional help with coursework. To assist during those times Westwood offers tutoring at no additional charge on an as-needed basis. Our unique approach partners enrolled students with a tutoring advisor. Don't hesitate to contact the education department or your student Success Team^SM when you feel the need to seek out tutoring assistance. Appointments are available upon request.

Our tutoring program is also an important opportunity for advanced students to help other students and earn extra income through the college work-study program*. Tutoring experience is a valuable addition to a student's resume.

Online campus tutoring center

The online campus Tutoring Center connects online students with tutors and academic resources on the path to academic success at no additional charge.^† The Tutoring Center is located in the Special Courses section of your course list and linked within every course in the Student Resources area. Coverage, events and schedules change slightly each term as we continuously upgrade our services. Details will be covered in your online student orientation.
