Through developing your student portfolio and the conceptualizing and creation of a complete game, you'll learn everything you need to know to start your career in developing game software. You'll also have the opportunity to enter the annual 2D Game Development Competition. Each year a panel of industry professionals judge the competition and award prizes.

    Denver, CO – Two Westwood College gaming program students were recently recognized for their “frightening” work in game design by The popular gaming Web site recently issued a Game Design Challenge encouraging readers to develop a design concept that explored the subject of horror in a fresh way. The Web site features regular contests, but this particular challenge garnered so many responses, the staff declared 10 winners in all, instead of the usual five.
