Animation is an exciting, innovative and creative field. This Westwood program will prepare you for jobs in film, television and online and computer gaming. Through the creation of animations, using the latest industry-standard software, you'll learn the skills you need to start a career as an animator. You will also create a final student portfolio to showcase your work and skills to prospective employers.

Program features include:

  • a final animation portfolio capstone course to demonstrate your animation skills to potential employers via a digital portfolio and resume
  • creation of animations from conception to final production and presentation, using software such as Adobe Flash® and Photoshop, and 3D modeling software such as 3DS Max or Maya
  • courses modeled after the workplace, giving you the valuable experience you'll need as you enter a variety of careers using your animation education
