School’s mission is to encourage lifelong learning
DENVER, Nov. 12, 2010 – In support of Westwood College’s mission to encourage lifelong learning opportunities, graduates are invited to participate in the tuition-free* Westwood alumni retraining program. This unique opportunity provides qualified Westwood College graduates tuition-free retraining in any class in the current catalog for the same program from which the individual graduated. This program is offered to graduates from all of Westwood College’s 17 campuses as well as to online graduates.
“Not only is Westwood College dedicated to educational success in the classroom, but we are also committed to helping graduates continue to grow and advance in their careers,” said David Borofsky, associate provost at Westwood College.
The alumni retraining program allows Westwood graduates to evaluate and review courses that are within their original degree plan, tuition-free. As part of this program, graduates may:
- Audit a class they have already taken
- Take an updated course after graduation
- Continue to learn about new equipment/software through Westwood College
Westwood College is committed to helping graduates succeed in life and in their careers. Graduates can visit the alumni relations website, to join the Alumni Directory and connect with their peers. On the site they will also find helpful career building articles and links.
Listen to some Westwood College graduates talk about the retraining program on Westwood’s YouTube channel. For additional information and helpful links, visit here.
*Participating in the Westwood Alumni Retraining program is tuition-free for qualified graduates. Additional costs such as lab fees, books, and supplies are the responsibility of the student. Retraining is limited to the program from which the student graduated and is subject to space availability.
