Westwood College‐ Houston South Selected as a 2006 ACCSCT School of Distinction

At its June 12, 2006 Annual Business Meeting and Awards Breakfast, Today’s Opportunity, Tomorrow’s Reality held at The Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (“ACCSCT”) recognized Westwood College‐ Houston South located in Houston, TX as a 2006 School of Distinction.

The School of Distinction Award recognizes ACCSCT accredited member institutions that have demonstrated a commitment to the expectations and rigors of ACCSCT accreditation, as well as a commitment to delivering quality educational programs to the students, graduates and employers that deserve our best work. Through this award, it is ACCSCT’s intent to recognize the importance of this significant achievement, including completing the accreditation process without stipulation and having been timely in the submission of the fees and reports required of an ACCSCT accredited institution. Of the 136 institutions considered by ACCSCT for initial or renewal of accreditation during the time period
August 2005 through February 2006, only 32 institutions qualified for the School of Distinction Award. ACCSCT offers its congratulations to Westwood College‐ Houston South on being named a 2006 ACCSCT School of Distinction.
