Westwood College will honor winners of its 2009 2D Game Development Competition on July 11th at Westwood’s Anaheim Campus. Over the past two months, gaming students from Westwood campuses across the country developed 2D games using Adobe Flash© that will be reviewed and judged by the interactive entertainment industry’s leading experts.
To coincide with the 2D Game Development Competition Awards, Westwood College will also host an interactive entertainment career fair, featuring up to 10 game companies from the Los Angeles area looking to meet the best and brightest in one of today’s fastest growing industries.
During the career fair, game developers and game employment experts will be on hand to offer tips on resume writing and interviewing, as well as other dos and don’ts to help those looking to get their foot in the door in the booming interactive entertainment business.
Many of the participating game development companies will offer their latest and greatest games for attendees to play.
Both the career fair and the 2D Gaming Contest Awards events are open to the public and free of charge.
