Arlington Ballston Campus Hosts Open House, Free Computer 911 Clinic To Highlight IT Industry

Workshop Offers Free Anti-Virus and Performance-Boosting PC Programs

Denver, CO – Westwood College today announced an open house and free Computer 911 Clinic at its Arlington Ballston campus scheduled for Saturday, August 1, 2009. The events are focused on highlighting career and job opportunities in the IT industry for Arlington-area residents.

The Computer 911 Clinic includes one-on-one PC check-ups for attendees who bring in their home computer, as well as free installation of several performance-boosting programs, installation of a free and legal anti-virus program and a scan for updates to their operating systems. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to meet with Westwood College faculty and staff members, tour the campus, and meet with student finance specialists.

Deb Mahon, Arlington Ballston campus president. “We want area residents to be aware of some of the great career opportunities that continue to exist, while also staying true to the Westwood College missionby offering hands-on IT experiences through the Computer 911 Clinic.”
