Denver South Campus

Located on the southwest side of the city, the Westwood College - Denver South Campus is handy for students in Denver, Lakewood, Englewood, Littleton, Aurora, Parker, and other metro suburbs. The campus is conveniently situated in the Bear Valley Shopping Center, close to a variety of shops and restaurants.  The city has a thriving downtown area with a theater district, shopping district, and many cultural attractions.

Denver is famous for its proximity to the Rocky Mountains and abundant recreational activities such as skiing, snowboarding, hiking and climbing. The growing city is a cultural hub for the states around Colorado. Nearby attractions include the Denver Art Museum’s new Libeskind wing, first Friday art walks on Santa Fe Boulevard, fine restaurants, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Six Flags amusement park, the Pepsi Center, Invesco Field at Mile High and Coors Field. Sports fans will enjoy the Denver Broncos, Colorado Avalanche, Denver Nuggets, and other professional sports teams.

Driving Directions
Located at the intersection of Sheridan and Dartmouth in the southeast corner of Bear Valley Shopping Center, the Westwood College – Denver South Campus is easily accessible from Highway 285.

Public Transportation
Bus routes can be found at www.rtd-denver.com. Some routes that serve the campus include:
Hampden Crosstown (Route 35)
Sheridan Crosstown (Route 51)
Yale Crosstown (Route 27)
The light rail system (Hampden station)

At Westwood College - Denver South Campus, there are a variety of student activities and clubs that enhance student life, including:*

  • ASID – American Society of Interior Design
  • CJSO – Criminal Justice Student Organization
  • WCMO – Westwood Construction Management Organization
  • PSE – Pi Sigma Epsilon (co-ed Business Fraternity)
  • IT – Information Technology (working to find a National “parent” organization to affiliate)
  • Student Ambassador
  • Game/chess
     

There is a student cafe on campus and ample parking. We also have a dedicated Internet lab, computers available in the learning commons and lab time in classrooms when classes aren't in session.
