Public Transportation
Our campus is conveniently situated on South Vermont Avenue (off of 190th Street and Del Amo Boulevard).  Students from South Los Angeles can travel to the campus with a short bus ride.  The campus is easily accessible by the Metro Rapid Blue line and Green line, as well as bus lines 205, 550, 130 and Torrance 1.

South Bay Campus Life

The South Bay campus is surrounded by numerous restaurants, attractions and entertainment venues. Just 15 minutes from campus, students have the option of exploring Downtown Long Beach or relaxing on the shores of Redondo or Hermosa Beach. Students who enjoy shopping frequent the Del Amo Mall and South Bay Pavilion. Westwood College - South Bay is also just minutes from the Home Depot Center where students can enjoy sporting events, concerts and community events.

Westwood College's Gathering of Video Game Legends Helps Students Plan Careers in the Industry

To help future interactive entertainment leaders learn more about this cutting-edge industry, Westwood College recently brought together 10 of the game industry’s most accomplished professionals to share their experience on getting started in gaming, what they’ve learned along the way and to discuss the future of the gaming profession. The event also raised money through donations made by attendees for the Get-Well Gamers Foundation, an organization that brings video game systems and games to dozens of children's hospitals across the country.

Westwood College today announced that its students are more satisfied with their college experience than their counterparts in a comparison group of almost 125 private four‐year colleges and universities. The independent student survey was performed by Noel‐Levitz, a nationally recognized consulting firm specializing in higher education research and strategic planning.
