Westwood College – South Bay Campus is conveniently located in the heart of the South Bay in Torrance, California. Outstanding cultural arts and music festivals, plus a short boat ride to Catalina Island and gorgeous weather year-round, make South Bay a paradise for living and learning.  Additional attractions include outstanding shopping, dining and sporting events, plus endless beaches and a thriving nightlife.

We pride ourselves on providing students with an excellent career-focused education enhanced by local industry professionals as instructors. Students enjoy an intimate classroom environment with dedicated and knowledgeable faculty and staff, along with ample campus resources including a spacious library, a no-cost tutoring program and access to computers and software to assist in research and study needs. When not in class, students have access to our student lounge equipped with vending machines, refrigerator, microwave oven and fresh-brewed coffee.

Public Transportation
Our campus is conveniently situated on South Vermont Avenue (off of 190th Street and Del Amo Boulevard).  Students from South Los Angeles can travel to the campus with a short bus ride.  The campus is easily accessible by the Metro Rapid Blue line and Green line, as well as bus lines 205, 550, 130 and Torrance 1.

 
 

South Bay Campus Life

The South Bay campus is surrounded by numerous restaurants, attractions and entertainment venues. Just 15 minutes from campus, students have the option of exploring Downtown Long Beach or relaxing on the shores of Redondo or Hermosa Beach. Students who enjoy shopping frequent the Del Amo Mall and South Bay Pavilion. Westwood College - South Bay is also just minutes from the Home Depot Center where students can enjoy sporting events, concerts and community events.
