How to Apply for Student Financing

It’s easy

Once you have submitted your application for admission, your student finance specialist can work with you to review all possible financing options and help guide you through the process.* On our campuses you can even go to our Student Financing office and complete the application on one of our computers, with a specialist by your side.

It’s as easy as these three simple steps:

  1. Access the Student Finance Portal and apply for your Personal Identification Number (PIN) with the U. S. Department of Education.
  2. Attend all scheduled meetings and/or complete all scheduled phone conversations with your student finance specialist. Identify a qualified co-borrower and complete your private student loan application.
  3. We’ll show you the many available options to help cover the cost of your education.

All you need

  • Prior-year tax return for yourself and/or spouse (if married), and for your parents (“dependent” students only)
  • Contact information including name, address, phone number and email address for your parent or a relative/friend with a good credit rating who might qualify as a co-borrower, if required for your student financing

Early application is encouraged to ensure availability of funds, so you’ll want to complete the financial aid application process as soon as you enroll.
