Kurt's real love is software development and he has been working in that area since the early 80's. He has written software seen on store shelves as well as many custom programs, and has also developed web sites. His latest work is in the area of ASP.NET Internet and Windows desktop application design and development. He now resides in Illinois now but has previously lived in Iowa where he grew up as well.
Kurt spent about 15 years in other parts of the country working with software companies and his own software development and consulting business. In recent history he was the Dean of the College of Business and Technology at another online university, and has taught over 100 online courses for various colleges. He also spent five years as a professor at Iowa State University, so has seen the brick and mortar view as well.
