Industry Experience
After Daniel finished his undergraduate work in Social Sciences at the University of California, Irvine, he decided to work towards a Master’s degree in Multicultural Education, which included California multiple subject teaching credentials. Since then he has taught in three local school districts within California, which provided him experiences in working with a diverse community. He has also volunteered through UC Irvine’s Educational outreach programs, in which he worked with low income secondary and post-secondary students. Teaching and advising students in these diverse communities allowed him to gain experience in preparing them to pursue higher education and more specifically, guide them to becoming academic scholars.
Currently Daniel is working on a Doctorate in Higher Education at the University of Southern California, where his research focus has been on the Southeast Asian American post-secondary community college population. He is also teaching business practicum classes, and leads several student run organizations within the campus. His interest in research and teaching allows Daniel to understand the fundamentals of education as he continues to prepare students for academic consummation.
