Transferring College Credit
Transferring credits to Westwood College
Westwood College has established cooperative agreements with select high schools and colleges enabling students to achieve advanced standing at Westwood. Under these agreements, students are able to apply credits earned in the past towards their degree fulfillment at Westwood.
If your organization is interested in creating an articulation agreement with Westwood College, please call us at 720-524-5119 or email us.
To determine if your college credits are transferable, please contact the Westwood College academic department at the campus location in which you are interested.
Transferring Westwood College credits to other colleges
No college can guarantee the transferability of its credits to any other institution unless there is a written Articulation Agreement with that institution. Transferability of credit is always determined by the receiving institution. It is the student’s responsibility to confirm whether an institution will accept credits from Westwood.
Units you earn at Westwood College in most cases will probably not be transferable to any other college or university. For example, if you entered our school as a freshman, you will still be a freshman if you enter another college or university at some time in the future, even though you earned units here at Westwood College. In addition, if you earn a degree, diploma, or certificate at Westwood, in most cases it will probably not serve as a basis for obtaining a higher-level degree at another college or university.
Westwood College requires all students to sign an agreement of their understanding of transferability of Westwood College credits as part of the enrollment process.
Articulation agreements are subject to change without notice. The academic dean for each individual campus can supply additional information on transferring in credits to Westwood College.
