Student Achievement and Graduation
At Westwood, we value student achievement. After all, learning well, earning good grades and completing a program are important milestones to celebrate!
Graduation ceremonies
College graduation is a significant accomplishment, and we are honored to recognize all Westwood graduates. Cap-and-gown graduation ceremonies are held for all programs for all Westwood College campuses.
Graduating with honors
Students achieving a 3.75 cumulative grade point average upon completion of their program will graduate with honors. This accomplishment is also noted on the student’s final academic record.
Dean’s list
Students maintaining a 3.75 grade point average or above for a term will be placed on the dean’s list. The dean’s list designation will be noted on the student’s transcript.
Alpha Beta Kappa
Alpha Beta Kappa is a national honor society in the arts, sciences, trades, business, technical and general studies. The purpose of the society is to reward students for superior academic and laboratory training, personal integrity and leadership skills.
